The detail that matters most for a small business: R2 does not charge to move data back out. That single fact changes how SITEBORNE designs delivery—files can be handed to a client or a visitor without a bandwidth bill scaling against the business’s own growth. SITEBORNE currently uses R2 narrowly: approved deliverables and one overwritten SiteSentinel evidence object, not an open upload surface.

Intended use: Approved downloads, licensed media, and a single overwritten monitoring-evidence record.
Best-fit user: Any file a business needs to store or deliver without paying a bandwidth tax every time someone downloads it.
Important limitation: Storage and Class A/B operation counts have a free monthly allowance; Infrequent Access pricing and retrieval behavior differ from standard storage and should be understood before relying on it.
Security or privacy: Buckets are private by default; access is granted through short-lived signed URLs, not public listing.
Free-tier status: Recurring launch allowance; verify before proposal.
Commercial use: Permitted subject to current provider terms.

Migration concern: Object keys, content types, and bucket-level access policy must be preserved on export; R2's S3-compatible API makes a straight copy realistic.
